2

:

On today's show, we have some club news.

3

:

We recap the top spiel in

Match day 26 against BIA Tand.

4

:

I'll preview match day 27 in the

Bundesliga against BIA Mush and GLA

5

:

back and in the RBL talk segment,

your listener input on the show.

6

:

Starting with the Club news for

this week, Tottenham decide against

7

:

permanent purchase of Timo Werner.

8

:

Florian Berg reports that Timo

Werner is heading back to his Bunes

9

:

Legal Club at the end of the season.

10

:

I.

11

:

The German's 18 month loan with

Tottenham Hod spur draws to a

12

:

close at the end of the season.

13

:

Some modest success in the Premier League

last spring led to the speculation that

14

:

Spurs wanted to sign the 29-year-old on

a permanent basis from RB Leipzig with

15

:

no goals in his 18 league appearances

this season, however, it appears as

16

:

if the club management at White Heart

Lane has decided that weer is not worth

17

:

the 12 million Euro purchase option.

18

:

Berg notes that Werner's future

with Leipzig is very much contingent

19

:

on whether Marco Rosa remains the

head coach of the German Red Bulls.

20

:

The continuous relationship

between the two was no secret.

21

:

The former Chelsea man could

still generate interest

22

:

from Premier League sides.

23

:

Some Bunes League clubs could

convince ly also have interest.

24

:

Moreover, per Berg, there are

inquiries from America's MLS,

25

:

the 57 times that ca International

currently earns approximately

26

:

10 million Euro via his current

RB contract valid until:

27

:

He maintains a 50 million

Euro estimated market worth.

28

:

32

:

The 16-year-old Swede will

make the move to lower Saxony

33

from his current employers.

34

:

Dig Your Garden's if f.

35

:

Leipzig is reportedly paying a base

fee of 1 million Euro for the Swedish

36

:

Center half, but bonus payments

could make that figure rise to 2.5

37

million di rotten Bullen afford off

stiff competition for the youngster

who is also being courted by Bio

Munich and NTUs in Italy and Ghana

But has represented Sweden at under 16

level, given his age lab will see in Ghana

81

:

And Lativa on Saturday 22nd of March

and Italy on Tuesday 25th of March.

82

:

No set times for these fixtures.

83

:

With all that outta the way, it's

time to recap the top spiel against

84

:

a Baria Tand with what we did right?

85

:

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

86

:

Starting with the good.

87

:

There's a lot here for this episode.

88

:

We're efficient from corners.

89

:

Scoring one of two goals from the set

piece players positioning was great.

90

:

Hence the first goal that was scored by

chubby nine outta 15 shots inside the box.

91

:

That's 60%.

92

:

BVB had 20 to 25.

93

:

In contrast, that's 80%.

94

:

For those who are wondering, we

blocked seven shots in defense.

95

:

61 out of 105 passes in the final third.

96

:

That's 58%.

97

:

That's not bad, but also not great either.

98

:

Very mediocre from what's meant to

be a top four side in the Bunes Liga.

99

:

And the contrary BBB had 162 of

217 passes at 75%, which shows

100

:

their attacking mentality compared

to the defensiveness of RBL.

101

:

We won eight of 10 dribbles

at 80%, which is good.

102

:

We won more tackles than BVB 19 to 11 at

63% success rate compared to BVB at 55%.

103

:

We cleared the ball well with

49 clearances for the whole game

104

:

goalkeeper Peter Gal made nine saves

his opposite number, only made three.

105

:

We intercepted well,

made 11 interceptions.

106

:

BVB only had seven.

107

:

We recovered the ball well

and quickly as we worked hard.

108

:

58 recoveries made in the game.

109

:

In total, what we did wrong, the

bad, gave away too many fouls.

110

:

14.

111

:

Total doorman had 10 booked

three times all yellow carts,

112

:

five outta 15 shots on target.

113

:

That's only 33.33%.

114

:

We had two errors that

led to a shot on goal.

115

:

We let BVB dominate possession.

116

:

We only had 34% of it.

117

:

BVB could have controlled the game

with 66% possession, which leads

118

:

into the next one with 71 passes

into the final third for BVB.

119

:

No wonder why we were carved

up in defense and for what we

120

:

did really wrong, the ugly.

121

:

Just a couple of things here.

122

:

We let Tand get too many big chances.

123

:

Eight in total.

124

:

And 25 shots in total.

125

:

This could have been a four two game if

BVB took their chances, we essentially

126

:

got outplayed by sitting in 10th.

127

:

We essentially got outplayed

by a side sitting in 10th.

128

:

I did say that the position didn't

do the black and yellows justice,

129

:

and they were unlucky to lose.

130

:

Two of three yellow cards

were from substitutes.

131

:

Amed Hira being booked after

five minutes from coming on in.

132

:

Leber six minutes.

133

:

Three things.

134

:

We learned the issue dormant.

135

:

Number one, we are not a

defensively capable side as we

136

:

were unable to throt their attacks.

137

:

Better teams coming up will

destroy us by taking their chances.

138

:

Number two.

139

:

Without Chavy Simmons and maybe

a few others like Gian or Ben,

140

:

but Chavy is the main one here.

141

:

This team is a mid table side at best.

142

:

Number three, Marco Rose's tactics

exposed defensively weak here.

143

:

We didn't change formation or

anything when we were getting

144

:

hammered in the final third.

145

:

It wouldn't be a bad idea to change

formations during the games on the fly.

146

:

Marco Rosa doesn't do this enough

and needs to add that to his game.

147

:

Now for the detailed summary and recap,

148

:

starting with player

watch players for RBL.

149

:

It was at Tedium and Gomez.

150

:

He was subbed on for Chavy Simmons in

the 81st minute, played nine minutes,

151

:

just seven minutes more than his last

game against Fryberg Gomez had five

152

:

touches, one shot on target, two outta two

accurate passes, one successful dribble.

153

:

Won two of two grand

dues and was fouled once.

154

:

Gomez had a rating of a 6.5

155

:

according to the one football app, and I

would agree with that rating for Gomez.

156

:

Didn't do anything really

in his nine minutes of play.

157

:

BVB was Sir Gari.

158

:

He played the full 90 minutes,

had 47 touches with an XG of 1.17

159

:

and an XA of 1.08.

160

:

For those that are unaware, XG

is a goals expected or expected

161

:

goals, and XA is expected.

162

:

Assists with his five total shots.

163

:

Two on target, one off target, and two

shots blocked, missed two big chances.

164

:

Had one dribble, which was

unsuccessful, made 20 of 29, passes

165

:

at 69% accuracy with five key

passes including three big chances.

166

:

Created, won two outta six grand

duals, and five of nine aerial duals.

167

:

Lost possession 14 times.

168

:

Committed one foul and

was fouled three times.

169

:

Made two clearances and won in deception.

170

:

Isn't that one a mouthful?

171

:

One.

172

:

Football gave him a rating of 7.1.

173

:

However, I would rate Gari a 7.0

174

:

due to his two missed chances,

his foul that he committed

175

:

and his shots off Target.

176

:

R BL avoided five Bundesliga matches

without a win for the first time ever

177

:

with a goal and assist from Cha Simmons

proving crucial in Antonio Victory

178

:

over British Dortmund at the Red Bull

Arena while inflicting a seventh league

179

:

defeat of 2025 on Nico Kovas side.

180

:

With both sides sitting on

their worst respective points.

181

:

Tallies after 25 league matches since

20 14, 20 15, Goman at least had

182

:

their midweek UF Champions League

success to provide a confidence boost.

183

:

And Sir Gari tested Peter gci with

a low strike early on, but that only

184

:

served to Ignite Le Zg who struck.

185

:

The bar through Lewis app Penda.

186

:

Before taking the lead on 18 minutes,

David Ram's powerful strike was pared

187

:

into the path of Benjamin Sko, who

was fortunate to accidentally flick

188

:

the ball back for Chavy Simmons to

per in from the center of the area.

189

:

The host showed no signs of slowing

down after notching that opener and

190

:

Marcel Saboa sustained an injury when

preventing Christopher Baumgartner shot.

191

:

Before ride or Baku curl against the

crossbar, it looked as though Tand

192

:

would be relieved to only go into

halftime, one goal down, but they

193

:

could easily have equalized to win.

194

:

Ka him at Yemi, cut inside and

had a low shot saved by Alci

195

:

during first half stoppage time.

196

:

But that hard work and any of Covax

words during the interval proved in vain.

197

:

As Leipzig doubled the advantage just a

couple of minutes after the restart, Chavy

198

:

lifted his corner over the crowd to app

Pender who sent a beautiful sight footed

199

:

volley back across the goal and into the

far corner that finally woke the visitors

200

:

from their slumber and at maximally

buyer embodied their determination

201

:

to try and rescue a lost cause.

202

:

Striking the woodwork twice in quick

succession before Yemi did the same.

203

:

As his thunder strike was tipped

onto the crossbar by Galachy.

204

:

Doorman's response after being pegged

back for a second time was admirable,

205

:

but a multitude of chances when begging

thanks to Summit Wayward finishing.

206

:

Ultimately, the visitors were unable

to get one back to despite racking up

207

:

over two xg in the second half, and

they unfortunately slumped to defeat for

208

:

the fourth time in six league matches

under Kovac for black and yellow fans.

209

:

Although the victory is not enough to see

them ascend into the top four lab, six,

210

:

a second winner from 10 league matches

in:

211

:

level on points with an on track.

212

:

Frankfurt.

213

:

The best place for RBL were ride or Baku.

214

:

Chris Chef Pam Gardner, who

won the most duals in the match

215

:

with 10 or the OR Band Che Bbu.

216

:

Benjamin Sesco heard the least touches

of any outfield play to play 90

217

:

minutes, but got the assist setting up

Chavy for his goal with great vision.

218

:

His total amount of touches was 32.

219

:

Chubby Simmons, Louis Pender, and

the Man Under the Match for me, Peter

220

:

gci, who made nine saves, one higher

claim, two punches, and 11 gold kicks.

221

:

Best players for BVB were Maximilian

Bayer who hit the woodwork

222

:

two times in five total shots.

223

:

So Gari, who created the most

chances in the match with five

224

:

Kerry 'em a Yemi and wold Anton.

225

:

But what did you think of the game?

226

:

Let me know in the comments section on

this episode on Spotify or across social

227

:

media where this episode has been posted.

228

:

Quick Suspension and injury list update.

229

:

Xavier Schlager has been back in team

training since Tuesday and was back

230

:

in the match day squad to face BVB.

231

:

Yusef Parson was not able to feature

against doorman due to muscular problems.

232

:

Antonio OSA is expected to be out until

the end of March with a knee injury.

233

:

Benjamin Henricks Achilles tendon

rupture in his right foot has undergone

234

:

successful surgery and is working

on his comeback in Leipzig Asana.

235

:

Drago has suffered a muscle and

tendon injury in his left thigh and

236

:

is also working towards a return.

237

:

Now to preview the M Glad

Back game brochure Mission.

238

:

Glad back.

239

:

Host Di Rotten Bullen on Saturday

29th of March at 3:30 PM Central

240

:

European time at CIA Park in M.

241

:

Glad back.

242

:

Glad Back will be without top score

and assist player Tim Kleist, who is

243

:

suspended for a second yellow challenge

in the dying embers of their last

244

:

Punes Liga fixture against Wea Breman.

245

:

The Parisians will also be without

Jonas Olin their number one keeper.

246

:

Moritz Nicholas with doubts

around Nicholas Swinder.

247

:

A RBL will be without Benny Henriks

and as Drago with doubts around Yusef

248

:

Parson and Antonio Osa who could make

the team sheet come Saturday week.

249

:

Depending on how they are in

training, historically, RBL

250

:

have been more successful when

these two meet, winning 58.82%

251

:

of the time.

252

:

We have 10 wins, four draws being

played out with Ian Mission.

253

:

Glad back winning just

three times at the 17.65%.

254

:

With their last win and coming as recent

as September of:

255

:

the 2223 season, we're glad back won

comprehensively at home at three N.

256

:

Both teams are quite even

when it comes to certain areas

257

:

such as big chances per game.

258

:

Glad back.

259

:

2.7.

260

:

RBL 2.5

261

:

interceptions.

262

:

Glad back.

263

:

9.3

264

:

RBL 9.0

265

:

clearances.

266

:

Glad back 28 to RBL.

267

:

28.2

268

:

all averages close together where this

game will be won and lost is the creation

269

:

of chances and accuracy in front of goal.

270

:

As GLAD back only miss 1.5

271

:

chances per game and RBL 1.6.

272

:

This may seem minuscule, but when

your opposition have five shots

273

:

on target per game to your 4.5

274

:

it shows.

275

:

Although GLAD Back currently

sit in seventh on 40 points.

276

:

After 26 match days to our 42 points

in fifth, it shows glad back are more

277

:

clinical and will take their chances.

278

:

Plus, we have been pour away from

home this season, currently eighth.

279

:

Best team away from home this season.

280

:

Some interesting match facts leading into

this game are British and mission led

281

:

back have conceded the most penalties

of this season with eight LED back have

282

:

scored 10 goals in the last five matches.

283

:

RBL have scored six goals

in their last five matches.

284

:

RBO have kept a clean sheet in the

competition on 13 occasions, which

285

:

is the most in the competition.

286

:

RBL and glad Back have

never drawn in mission.

287

:

Glad back and Mission Glad back.

288

:

Have only ever beaten RBL in GLAD Back

289

:

Play Watch for both sides will be.

290

:

For British and Russian GLAD back PLE

as been with the Perian since:

291

:

and has appeared over 229 times for

his club in the absence of Klein de.

292

:

He's going to have to step up to score or

set up his teammates if his side are going

293

:

to get some points when RBL comes to town.

294

:

For RBL Ride or Baku since coming to RBL

from Wolfsburg in the winter Transfer

295

:

window in January of this year, Baku has

already played in 12 Bundesliga games

296

:

and has become a regular starter in

the place of the injured Benny Henriks

297

:

yet to score a goal in the Bun Leaguer.

298

:

Baku is close to scoring as we

are attacking down the right

299

:

hand side more than the left.

300

:

Look for his speed work rate and

crossing ability out on the right

301

:

flank and for him to pop up.

302

:

To maybe score his first

Bundesliga goal as a red Bull.

303

:

What I'd like to see in this match

with lineup, we all know Marco

304

:

Rosa will set up with a back three.

305

:

So I'm going to go with my favorite 3 5

2 formation in a 3 4 1 2 formation with a

306

:

roaming number 10 behind the two strikers.

307

:

In goal, the Belgian Martine Vandervoort

replaces Peter gci, as I feel Martine

308

:

Vandervoort needs to have more minutes.

309

:

No knock on Peter Gal's.

310

:

Most recent performances, a

back three of Ca Leba or the

311

:

OR Band and Lucas Klosterman.

312

:

From left to right and midfield, we

have David Ra, Amadou Hira, Nicholas

313

:

Sal, and Right or Baku across the pitch.

314

:

Also from left to right, Chavy Simmons

plays in the roaming Number 10 role.

315

:

Able to free roam, set up players

and dribble wherever he likes in

316

:

the attacking third of the pitch and

coming back centrally in defense.

317

:

Able to spray passes out

wide to his left or right.

318

:

To help start fast.

319

:

Breaks up front we have the

strike partnership of Louis

320

:

Pender and Benjamin Sesco.

321

:

Four predictions.

322

:

I think there will be goals

again in this one, and this game

323

:

shows where we are currently at.

324

:

Even though m Glad Back haven't done

well at home this season, there's still

325

:

every chance to beat us if we don't have

full focus on Match Day A two one win

326

:

for RBL with hopefully Ride Baku scoring

his first Bundesliga goal as a Red Bull.

327

:

336

:

show for free in the show notes.

337

:

I will just say very quickly

before we start the submissions,

338

:

if you have made it this far into

the episode, thank you very much.

339

:

I do apologize if I sound a little

tired and some words haven't been

340

:

said correctly, A little bit more

than normal as it is currently 5:05

341

:

AM and as soon as this episode is

done, edited and it's going to be

342

:

pushed for the RBL talk members.

343

:

It's been a very hectic

week with work coming back.

344

:

So I do apologize.

345

:

We have five submissions today, two

from the RB fans Discord, and three

346

:

from Instagram from the RB fans Discord.

347

:

Rob three R seven O says it was again,

an interesting match with a strong first

348

:

half, and of course a disastrous second.

349

:

I couldn't understand that,

but it was an important win.

350

:

So the momentum for this weekend achieved.

351

:

Again, I agree with Robert

three R seven O here.

352

:

It was definitely an interesting match

in a very strong first half, but that

353

:

second half was disastrous, as you said.

354

:

I.

355

:

You say you couldn't understand it?

356

:

I think it is just that inconsistency

that we've had under Marco Rosa.

357

:

I'm not saying it's his fault

this time, and I'm not saying

358

:

it's the player's fault.

359

:

It's a conjoined effort from everybody.

360

:

I don't know what exactly it was.

361

:

I could probably say a few

things, but we don't wanna drag

362

:

this episode out for too long.

363

:

I do think, however, it was probably

just a sense of resting on our

364

:

laurels, just thinking about.

365

:

Job done.

366

:

We are in front, take the foot off the

pedal a little bit, but then we sat

367

:

back off Dortmund and we just let them

completely hammer a, which we were very

368

:

lucky to actually get all three points.

369

:

A draw would've actually been, when

you look at it in hindsight, the

370

:

most fairest result as Dortmund

played very well in that second half.

371

:

And Cyril says, were you against

us making chubby a deal permanent,

372

:

or was it a matter of long-term

versus short-term problem solving?

373

:

I generally don't know how we'd

fair without him as much as it's

374

:

against Tand who've been outta form.

375

:

I think we defended superbly.

376

:

Like I was literally waiting for the

inevitable to happen, but somehow

377

:

GCI pulled off a masterclass all

credit to him after we not so long

378

:

ago, talked about dropping him.

379

:

I pray he's more and more

consistent with these performances.

380

:

I hope that after the international

break will have Noosa back.

381

:

I've missed the guy, but I certainly

haven't particularly missed his WB days.

382

:

So Sarah, a very big.

383

:

Submission there, which is always

good to see and a very detailed one.

384

:

So we'll break it down in parts.

385

:

The first you say, were you against

us making Chevy's deal permanent

386

:

was a matter of long term versus

short term problem solving.

387

:

Well, for me, I was against making

his deal permanent, but that's because

388

:

I expected us to pay 80 million

Euro to a hundred million Euro.

389

:

And the way the club works is that we

buy a player and then we look at a return

390

:

on investment and then we go sell them.

391

:

And with his current

form, even in this season.

392

:

But yes, okay, we paid a lot less.

393

:

We paid 50 million Euro plus up to

80 million Euro full transfer fee.

394

:

With bonuses, but I don't even think

he's gonna get to that 80 million euro.

395

:

But even if he did, we'd be lucky to

get our return on investment there.

396

:

Plus PSG have a sell on clause, so

they're gonna get money from it anyway.

397

:

So we need to make sure that

that fee, when the time does

398

:

come, is going to be higher.

399

:

Now for me, I wanted all that money

to go around building more players

400

:

into the squad 'cause we lack depth

and also rebuilding the squad as it's

401

:

shown that we have just a couple of

good players all playing individually,

402

:

not playing as part of a team.

403

:

And this is some of the biggest

problems that we have at RB Leipzig.

404

:

Now, this model has served us well so far,

including giving us a couple of trophies.

405

:

But it's not something

sustainable for the future.

406

:

We are on the decline and we're going

to end up being a mid table side

407

:

probably sooner rather than later.

408

:

Now, I'm hoping I have to in eat my words

here, but I can't see one Marco Rosa being

409

:

the manager and getting success at RB lab.

410

:

Zg, unless he's already got the

success, like the Super Cup and P Hale.

411

:

I hope I'm wrong here, but Marco Rosa

is not the manager to give us any

412

:

more success unless we look at the

long-term project and think, okay.

413

:

We're not going to win anything.

414

:

For a little while now,

we're still a young club.

415

:

We're not going to always be competing

and winning everything against the

416

:

likes of Bain, Levien and any other

clubs that get up there, but that

417

:

is where we should be achieving for.

418

:

We should be top four every season.

419

:

We should be competing deep into these

competitions domestically every season.

420

:

We may not win the Bunes leaguer, but

we need to start getting to that stage.

421

:

This buying players for cheap,

selling them on later, after a couple

422

:

of seasons, isn't going to help.

423

:

You have lots of good individual

players, but they can't work together.

424

:

There's no actual system out in the pitch.

425

:

And these are some of the biggest problems

that I had when it came to the long

426

:

term versus short term problem solving.

427

:

Yeah, it's a little bit of that.

428

:

It is all short term.

429

:

It's not for the long term.

430

:

I would've rather have had all.

431

:

That money put aside into building

players, and I think that we need to start

432

:

working on our academy players as well and

building them up and getting them into the

433

:

squad as well, or at least getting players

that are going to be young and committed

434

:

to the project and making history at

RBL iig for our first Punes Lega trophy,

435

:

I do think that we defended

superbly, except in that second half.

436

:

It absolutely fell

apart in the first half.

437

:

We were spot on.

438

:

And when you said that,

waiting for that inevitable.

439

:

Yeah.

440

:

I honestly thought Gia was gonna

let one through eventually, only

441

:

because how many times he peppered,

442

:

only because of how many times

Brucey Altman peppered him.

443

:

That being said, he stood

up and he paid dividends.

444

:

Now as you said, we've said that he

should have been dropping him now.

445

:

I don't want to just drop him, so to

speak, but I do want squad rotation,

446

:

which is why previously I said Martine

Vandervoort needs to go and go.

447

:

It's no knock on Peter G's performances,

but we need to start looking at

448

:

the future, not at the present.

449

:

And yeah, I can't wait for Antonio

Newsa to come back, but I really hope he

450

:

doesn't start playing Ring back again.

451

:

Over on Instagram, Pia

h Fmr says, what a game.

452

:

Finally, three points again.

453

:

Yep.

454

:

It was a really great game

to watch, end-to-end stuff.

455

:

Quite enjoyed it during the live

stream and it was actually quite

456

:

good for the neutral as well.

457

:

That's why I was sort of hoping that

British Doman would at least come back

458

:

and make it a little bit more interesting.

459

:

But Peter Galcho was really gonna

keep that clean sheet that was

460

:

never going to go away from him.

461

:

Mari, T-H-I-E-M says the first

half was mega and the second

462

:

half we were lucky and had Pete.

463

:

Yeah, absolutely.

464

:

I think we were lucky and we were

also lucky that we had Peter gci.

465

:

He's been the wall for us for so long, but

he is starting to drop off just natural

466

:

age and fatigue and a few other things,

467

:

but he absolutely deserve all

his plaudits after that match.

468

:

And RL nine, Louie fan says, great first

half, bad second half, but we have a wall.

469

:

Yep, absolutely.

470

:

If you're gonna sum it up in something

very short and sharp and shiny,

471

:

great first half, bad second half.

472

:

Simple as that.

473

:

But we had a wall, and that wall was

bigger than the Great Wall of China.

474

:

Sorry, that was supposed to be a pun.

475

:

Supposed to be funny,

but it probably wasn't.

476

:

But you get the idea.

477

:

It was so big.

478

:

Nothing could have gone over it.

479

:

Nothing could go through it.

480

:

Pete Achi just knows how to do his

thing when he is got his eye in and

481

:

when he is not thinking about it

and he's just letting his reflexes

482

:

and natural ability go, he's easily

one of the best goalkeepers in world

483

:

football, pulling off amazing saves.

484

:

Just where you think he's gonna get beat.

485

:

He just pulls something

absolutely remarkable out.

486

:

As always, I'd like to thank the
