of such as we stand with Lois Openda.

and the RBL talk segment with

your listener input on the show.

20

:

Starting with the news, there

was huge news emanating from

21

:

the Bundesliga front on Sunday.

22

:

Perhaps German football's most

respected match official, Dr.

23

:

Felix Brych, will be hanging

up the boots after this season.

24

:

The 49 year old announced his decision

via German television channel Welt TV.

25

:

Dr.

26

:

Brych officially became the

Bundesliga's all time record holder

27

:

for a number of top flight matches,

officiated on Matchday 3 of the

28

:

current 2024 25 Bundesliga campaign.

29

:

He surpassed Wolfgang Stark's

previous record of 344

30

:

Bundesliga fixtures officiated.

31

:

At present, Brych has

reffed 352 Bundesliga games.

32

:

Retirement has nevertheless

been in the cards for some time.

33

:

Brych suffered a horrible PCL tear in

November of:

34

:

between Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

35

:

This was the game in which

he tied Stark's record.

36

:

After being sidelined for nearly a year,

Brych returned to work this autumn.

37

:

A new injury incurred during a

matchday 18 encounter between

38

:

Holstein Kiel and Hoffenheim, which

left him sidelined again this year.

39

:

Brych was already allowed to continue

beyond the normal mandatory German

40

:

refereeing retirement age of 47.

41

:

As an athlete, one realizes at some

point that it becomes increasingly

42

:

difficult to maintain this performance

level Brych noted on the TV channel.

43

:

Training becomes more and more arduous.

44

:

It's a dream to referee in the

Bundesliga, but it must still be worth it.

45

:

I'm glad I can take this step.

46

:

I wish to set the end line for myself.

47

:

As is the case with any referee,

Brych's biggest career mistakes

48

:

will always be remembered.

49

:

The phantom goal awarded to

Leverkusen's Stefan Keißling

50

:

In October 2023, shall never be

forgotten by German football fans.

51

:

On the international level, Brych's

famous non call in Switzerland's

52

:

FIFA 2018 World Cup group stage win

over Serbia shall never be forgotten.

53

:

Brych was not allowed to whistle

any more games at that tournament,

54

:

though he was later rehabilitated

for the:

55

:

During his long career, Brych

has honoured as Referee of the

56

:

Year in Germany five times.

57

:

2013, 2015, 16, 18 and 2021.

58

:

And twice, 2027 and 2021

as world's best referee.

59

:

He also whistled at two DFB

cup finals in:

60

:

And the UEFA Champions

League final in:

61

:

RB Lab.

62

:

Xavier Schlager suffers a fresh setback.

63

:

RB lab confirmed that Xavier Schlager

will be sidelined until March.

64

:

Suffering a fresh injury.

65

:

Setback the Austrian midfielder

underwent minor surgery on his knee

66

:

this week due to oncoming discomfort.

67

:

Issues pushing the 27 year olds

return back by around six weeks.

68

:

Schlager suffered an ACL tear injury

against Hoffenheim in May,:

69

:

And returned towards the end of the year,

but injured his left knee on January 6th.

70

:

According to Kickr, a follow up

examination found that fluid had formed

71

:

on the player's injured knee, which is

why Schlager had to undergo minor surgery.

72

:

RB Leipzig did confirm that Schlager

would start running again in the next

73

:

few weeks, but that he will also be

sidelined for Austria's playoff game

74

:

against Serbia on March 20 in 2023.

75

:

After that, the play should be

available to Marco Rose once again.

76

:

Schlager has just managed

200 minutes across 5 games in

77

:

all competitions this season.

78

:

And there is a Benjamin Henrichs update.

79

:

When his RB Leipzig teammates fight for

points on the pitch, he can only watch.

80

:

Benjamin Henrichs was also in

the stands on Sunday during

81

:

the 2 0 win against FC St.

82

:

Pauli on December 20th.

83

:

In the game against FC Bayern Munich,

the 27 year old tore his Achilles tendon

84

:

without any opponent's influence and

had an operation shortly afterwards.

85

:

Since then, he has been wearing

a special shoe on his right foot.

86

:

I'm feeling reasonably well.

87

:

The shoe will be gone in about

two weeks and then I'll be able

88

:

to walk normally again, said

Henrikx, before the game against St.

89

:

Pauli.

90

:

Still learning on crutches, he can now

be putting more weight on his right leg.

91

:

But I'm still very dependent

on the people around me.

92

:

I still can't drive a car.

93

:

How long will Henrik's rehab take

once he's rid of the special shoe?

94

:

It's unclear.

95

:

Only absolute optimists expect the

national player to return this season.

96

:

On his way to a comeback, the footballer

doesn't want to leave his fans out.

97

:

The first episode of a video documentary

went online on his YouTube channel

98

:

last week, titled Faith Over Fear.

99

:

I wanted to take people with me

from day one, not just post a photo

100

:

and say I'll come back stronger,

said Henrikx, about his motives.

101

:

I wanted to show how it's really like.

102

111

:

Let's review the St.

112

:

Pauli game, breaking it down into

the good, the bad, and the ugly.

113

:

First, with the good.

114

:

Recovered the ball well and quickly,

averaging getting the ball back within

115

:

10 seconds for a majority of the game.

116

:

We transitioned the ball well.

117

:

We got behind the St.

118

:

Pauli defensive line with our passes.

119

:

11 shots inside the box.

120

:

Only 6 of 11 shots on target though.

121

:

That's just 54.

122

:

54%, not bad, but not great either,

and we kept our shape well in defense.

123

:

The bad, poor in challenges,

committing 12 fouls, St.

124

:

Pauli just committed 8, offside

twice, 3 bookings including 1 red

125

:

card, Orben's red card didn't help

us, but was much needed to build

126

:

character and show we can hold a lead.

127

:

And the ugly?

128

:

Missing three big chances.

129

:

We could have worked on our dismal goal

differential, which seems important

130

:

this season, with how tight the table

is, and we didn't take the chance.

131

:

Will it come back to hurt

us come season's end?

132

:

Three things we learned v.

133

:

St.

134

:

Pauli.

135

:

Number one, Sesko and

Xavi, the new go to duo.

136

:

Xavi and Sesko linked up

beautifully, all game, to score

137

:

an assist with each other twice.

138

:

Could this be the link ups we've

been missing from last season?

139

:

Number 2.

140

:

Florian Badstübner was not messing around

booking Geertruida in the first minute.

141

:

He was unlucky to be booked.

142

:

Their yes, it was a poor challenge,

studs down onto the top of the foot.

143

:

But most officials give out warnings

for the first few minutes of the games,

144

:

for the players to get their eye in.

145

:

But not Florian, stamping

his authority early on.

146

:

Number 3.

147

:

We cater for too many teams.

148

:

There's been other occasions

where we've given up our home kit.

149

:

Why couldn't St.

150

:

Pauli wear their third kit?

151

:

Or even their home kit?

152

:

A team at home should always be

in their home kit, no matter what.

153

:

Let's recap the game in detail.

154

:

Starting with player watch player

for the opposition, Eric Smith.

155

:

Eric played the full 90 minutes.

156

:

Had 80 touches, 49 of 62 passes

at a completion rate of 79%.

157

:

11 passes into the final third.

158

:

Two.

159

:

Chances created three clearances, one

off a line, one block four of four

160

:

tackles, won at a hundred percent

accuracy and player, watch player for.

161

:

RBL was Ridle Baku.

162

:

He played the full 90 minutes, had 66

touches seven in the St Pauli box, two

163

:

total shots in the 84th and 90th minutes.

164

:

Both shots were blocked, 28 of 26 passes

at 77 percent accuracy, 4 passes at the

165

:

final 3rd, 2 of 2 successful dribbles,

5 clearances, 2 by header, 5 out of 10

166

:

duels won at 50 percent success rate,

winning 56 percent of ground duels,

167

:

5 of 9 and lost his only aerial duel.

168

:

And was only dribbled past once.

169

:

Both players played well

for both respective teams.

170

:

I do think Eric Smith was

most likely closer to best

171

:

on ground for the Kiezkicker.

172

:

However, for RBL, Ridle Baku was

not best on ground, but he was

173

:

certainly one of our better players.

174

:

We started the 3 4 1 2 instead of the

3 1 4 2 Marco Rose has been doing.

175

:

Are you listening to me, Marco?

176

:

Gulacsi goal.

177

:

Orban and Geertruida as the back three,

Raum as a left midfielder, Kampl and

178

:

Haidara in the centre defensive midfielder

roles, Ridle Baku on the right of

179

:

midfield, Xavi was the number 10 role.

180

:

And Sesko and Nusa, up front, as Nusa

gains a start instead of Lois Openda.

181

:

Lois did end up making a start and

coming on in the 73rd minute, only

182

:

playing 17 minutes in that game.

183

:

Openda had 13 touches, 6 of the FC St.

184

:

Pauli box, 5 of 7 passes completed

at 71 percent accuracy, 1 pass into

185

:

the final third, 3 of 4 total shots

on target at 75 percent accuracy.

186

:

Just missing his last shot.

187

:

He didn't light up the but Red

Bull arena by any means, but he did

188

:

make a difference with fresh legs.

189

:

And although he still looked rusty,

these cameos off the bench need

190

:

to happen a little bit more so

he can get his confidence back.

191

:

The first halfway dominate possession

with 65% to Saint Pals, 35%.

192

:

We were clinical as both

teams had two shots on goal.

193

:

St.

194

:

Pauli had one on target, which hit

the post from a set piece, from Noah

195

:

Weissenhaupt, deep into injury time,

in the first half, and the other

196

:

shot was taken by Jackson Irvine,

just three minutes into the game.

197

:

We kept our passes accurate,

making 333 for the half, at 92

198

:

percent accuracy, which was way

over double the amount of St.

199

:

Pauli, who had made 151

at 79 percent accuracy.

200

:

St.

201

:

Pauli's plan to close things down at the

back and irritate the Leipzig players

202

:

with pinpricks was thus a first step.

203

:

Seconds earlier, however, it almost worked

when Johannes Eggestein sent a cross

204

:

into Leipzig's backyard, which Castello

Lukeba deflected into his own goal.

205

:

The Frenchman was lucky that RB keeper

Peter Gulacsi parried the ricochet

206

:

and immediately switched to attack.

207

:

The immediate counter

attack brought the lead.

208

:

Lukeba was in the RB starting XI

for the first time in 71 days.

209

:

Kevin Kampl also returned to the starting

lineup after a minor injury, and Lois

210

:

Openda was given a break on the bench.

211

:

RB coach Marco Rose only played with

one striker because he wanted to have

212

:

a lot of ball security in the team.

213

:

and ideas on the pitch when

it came to cracking the FC St.

214

:

Pauli back line.

215

:

The second goal was similar to the first.

216

:

Defense leader Willi Orban

hit a long ball to Sesko.

217

:

The Slovenian passed it on to Ridle

Baku, got the ball back and set

218

:

it up for Xavi at the penalty spot

to make it 2 0 in the 35th minute.

219

:

After the break, St.

220

:

Pauli took control of the game.

221

:

And in the 60th minute, Elias Saad

was well positioned in front of

222

:

Gulacsi and substitute Nicolas Seiwald

just managed to block his shot.

223

:

Nine minutes later, the

striker who had come on for St.

224

:

Pauli was again on his way to

the RB goal, but this time Orban

225

:

stopped him, and was shown a red

card by official Florian Badstübner.

226

:

The defender had not

hit the ball, but Saad.

227

:

With one man less, the guests had more

problems for a long time than they

228

:

had previously against 11 RBL players.

229

:

Things only got wild again shortly

after, before the end of the game,

230

:

Jackson Irvine and Eggerstein with

their foreheads and Hauke Wahl with a

231

:

full volley tested Leipzig's nerves.

232

:

But we're defeated by Gulacsi three

times in the 86th, 88th and 89th minutes.

233

:

We held off the late surge for a

two nil win in front of 46, 021 fans

234

:

at the stadium, breaking a poor run

of form after three previous draws.

235

:

We will be talking about that red card

during the RBL talk segment with listener

236

:

questions for the episode later on.

237

:

Now let's talk goals.

238

:

RBL scored both goals in the game.

239

:

Our first came in the 16th minute

from a counter attack, which came

240

:

from a good piece of play from St.

241

:

Pauli, who transitioned the ball

well from defence to attack.

242

:

On the left hand side for the

Kiezkicker the neighbourhood kickers.

243

:

As a cross came in, and a last touch

from Castello Lukeba, almost ending

244

:

the first goal and his own goal.

245

:

It was out of Peter Gulacsi's reach, as

he just deflected it and hit the post.

246

:

As the ball came back into play, it

fell for David Raum, as he released

247

:

Xavi Simons, streaming through

the Red Bull Arena centrally, just

248

:

to the right side of the pitch.

249

:

And his final through ball pass

was pin perfect past four St.

250

:

Pauli defenders to Benjamin Sesko, who ran

into the box, took his first touch with

251

:

his right boot, dragging the ball back

and away from David Nemeth, who attempted

252

:

a sliding challenge, as the other two

centre backs, Eric Smith and Hauke Wahl,

253

:

attempted to get back within a second.

254

:

Sesko had opened up the angle and

slotted the ball nicely past Nikola

255

:

Vasilj into the bottom right corner.

256

:

With a right footed finesse shot.

257

:

Scores 1 0.

258

:

The second goal came 19 minutes

later, in the 35th minute.

259

:

The build up play started with Captain

Willi Orban in the middle of the Red

260

:

Bull Arena, just near the center circle.

261

:

He passed to his right to Kevin

Kampl, who passed the long lobbed

262

:

ball to Benjamin Sesko, just before

the box, on the top right corner.

263

:

As he was surrounded by St.

264

:

Pauli defenders, He passed directly in

front of him to the right hand side.

265

:

He was facing to Ridle

Baku, which drew two St.

266

:

Pauli defenders and gave space

behind to Benjamin Sesko.

267

:

Baku played a lovely ball between

both defenders to Sesko, who

268

:

centered the ball to Xavi Simons.

269

:

Who took a first time shot with

no touch, with his right boot,

270

:

and shot a well placed shot

past Nikola Vasilj to his right.

271

:

Scores were now 2 0.

272

:

After the game, reporters

asked Marco Rose and players

273

:

their thoughts after the match.

274

:

Some of them were Marco Rose.

275

:

Kevin Kampl and Rydal Baku.

276

:

They had this to say, Manager

Marco Rose, we played a dominant

277

:

first half, but when St.

278

:

Pauli were dangerous, they

were immediately dangerous.

279

:

But we deserved to be leading at halftime.

280

:

However, we have failed to win games

like this a few times this season.

281

:

We came out of the halftime

break well, but we weren't quick

282

:

enough into the dangerous areas.

283

:

The red card made things a little

wild again, but overall we did well.

284

:

Now we have to focus on the

details, the little things.

285

:

There were moments today where

we had to raise a finger.

286

:

Kevin Kampl.

287

:

In the first half we had good possession,

a lot of depth and scored some nice goals.

288

:

After the break we missed

the chance to seal the deal.

289

:

We can generally do better.

290

:

But we are all happy that we won.

291

:

All in all, it was a good game for us.

292

:

That was a real step forward today.

293

:

And Ridle Baku, it's always good

to win in front of a home crowd.

294

:

St.

295

:

Pauli made it difficult for us,

but we scored the goals in the

296

:

decisive moments, and then brought

the result home with one man less.

297

:

It wasn't a walk in the park

today, but I don't care.

298

:

The win is really good for us.

299

:

The best players for RBL were Ridle

Baku, Peter Gulacsi, Which, it was great

300

:

to see him back, playing a full game.

301

:

Kevin Kampl, who was the most

accurate passer, with 97 percent

302

:

accuracy, to play 45 minutes or more.

303

:

Benjamin Sesko, and Xavi

Simons, who created the most

304

:

chances, with 4 in the match.

305

:

Although, Xavi did lose the most

duels in the match, losing 9, so Xavi

306

:

might need to work on his strength.

307

:

The best players for St.

308

:

Pauli were James Sands, who

won the most duels in the match

309

:

with 11, Jackson Irvine, and

Player Watch player Eric Smith.

310

Suspensions and injury list update.

334

:

After showing a straight

red card against St.

335

:

Pauli, Willi Orban will miss

the next game with a suspension.

336

:

There is a question mark around Antonio

Nusa, who's got a slight injury.

337

:

He's expected to only be out

for a few days as he's trained

338

:

individually and not with the team.

339

:

Depending on how he goes in

training this week, he may be a

340

:

selection for the Augsburg game.

341

:

We will be without injured players

Yusuf Poulsen with a thigh injury.

342

:

The estimated return date is March.

343

:

Assan Ouedraogo, hamstring injury.

344

:

His estimated return is mid April.

345

:

Xavier Schlager, foot injury,

his estimated return date is May,

346

:

and Benjamin Henrichs, Achilles

tendon injury, his estimated

347

:

return date is out for the season.

348

:

Let's preview the next game,

which is Bundesliga matchday

349

:

22 against FC Augsburg.

350

:

Augsburg have questions around injured

players, Elvis Rexhbecaj, Henri

351

:

Koudossou, Christian Jakic, Mergim

Berisha, Reece Oxford, Robert Gumny,

352

:

Steve Mounie, and and Yusuf Kabadayi.

353

:

After 21 matches, Augsburg is sitting

in 12th position on 27 points.

354

:

Winning seven times, six draws

and eight losses with a goal

355

:

differential of minus 11 RBL.

356

:

On the other hand are back into the

top four after their win against St.

357

:

Pauli after 21 match days, RBL are fourth

358

:

with 36 points winning 10.

359

:

Drawing 6 and losing 5 games, with

a goal differential of plus 7.

360

:

Augsburg are on a 5 game undefeated

streak in the Bundesliga, including

361

:

winning against Jena Berlin,

Huerta Bremen and Heidenheim, and

362

:

drawing their last 2 against St.

363

:

Pauli and Mainz.

364

:

This won't be a walk in the park

for RBL, as Augsburg have won

365

:

half their home games this season.

366

:

And should give RBL a run for their

money throughout this fixture.

367

:

RBL will want to continue their

winning ways, and try to stamp their

368

:

intentions on a top 4 finish, with the

competition fierce as only 6 points

369

:

separates 4th to 10th this season.

370

:

Some interesting match facts leading

to this game are, Augsburg haven't

371

:

scored in their last 2 matches.

372

:

Augsburg have scored 5 goals

in their last 5 matches.

373

:

RBL have kept the most clean sheets in the

competition with 10, and RBL haven't lost

374

:

to Augsburg in their last 16 meetings,

with 11 wins and 5 draws being played out.

an explanation, as they always say.

:

If it's free, you are the product.

391

:

Plus, with time saving tools like

show note templates, you can cut

395

:

down on production time and let

the team at Captivate work for you.

396

:

Player watch player for both sides

will be, for Augsburg, Alexis Claude.

397

:

Since coming back from loan from

Nice, Alexis has scored six goals

398

:

and has one assist to his name.

399

:

If Augsburg are going to be able to

take some points in this match, he

400

:

is going to be pivotal in creating

and taking chances for the Swabians.

401

:

For RBL, Xavi Simmonds.

402

:

Although missing with injury, Xavi hasn't

performed as well as he did last season.

403

:

And now after just signing his lucrative

two and a half year deal with RB

404

:

Leipzig until 2027, Xavi will not be

with the club for long term it seems.

405

:

So he needs to perform so RBL can

at least cover their losses for

406

:

when Xavi leaves as a former club

PSG have a sell on clause attached.

407

:

Not to mention RBL need Xavi firing so

he can be top four come end of season.

408

:

Xavi looked to be back to his

best in our previous fixture.

409

:

Look for him to break the game

open again against Augsburg.

410

:

What I'd like to see in

this match with line up.

411

:

3 4 1 2 line up worked okay against St.

412

:

Pauli.

413

:

Although it ended up being a 3 4

2 1 with a sole striker up front.

414

:

Peter Gulacsi retains his spot in

goal after recent performances.

415

:

With the back three of Castello

Lukeba on the left, replacing

416

:

the suspended Willi Orban for

me, would be Chadaille Bitshiabu.

417

:

I think he'll do well with

Countryman Lukeba next to him.

418

:

They can both swap if Chad doesn't

perform well during the game.

419

:

As he is capable on the left as well.

420

:

Lukas Klostermann on the right,

replacing Geertruida, as he got

421

:

booked too early on in this one.

422

:

He could do with the rest.

423

:

Midfield four on the left, David

Raum, Kevin Kampl, and Amadou

424

:

Haidara in the heart of midfield.

425

:

With Ridle Baku retaining

his spot on the right.

426

:

And the two centre attacking

midfielder roles, Xavi Simons

427

:

and Antonio Nusa play together.

428

:

And if Antonio Nusa is not fit,

Christoph Baumgartner will take

429

:

his place, with Benjamin Sesko

up front as the sole striker.

430

:

I would like to see a formation change

to a 3 5 2, or a 2 as Marco Rose would

431

:

use, which is essentially the same thing.

432

:

Put Lois Openda on in the 63rd

minute with fresh legs, and see some

433

:

minutes given to new young signings,

Kosta, Nedeljkovic and Tidiam Gomis.

434

:

Get these young lads integrated as

soon as possible into our game style.

435

:

For predictions Historically,

RBL have had the advantage over

436

:

Augsburg, winning 12 games at 57.

437

:

14%.

438

:

With Augsburg winning three

and six draws being played out.

439

:

The last time Augsburg was able to

beat RBL was way back in round five

440

:

of the 2017, 2018 Bundesliga season,

winning by a single goal, one nil.

441

:

And at home with Daniel

Seibert being the official.

442

:

Only Kampl, Orban and Poulsen remain

in the squad who played in that game.

443

:

Depending on which RBL team shows

up, this can go as a 2 2 draw.

444

:

Or a comfortable win.

445

:

And I think the latter will

happen by at least two goals.

446

:

Maybe the same scoreline as our

previous fixture in the competition.

447

:

Two nil.

448

:

Remember, you can be a part of the

show too, with the RBL talk segment.

449

:

show as a special guest.

451

:

452

:

com more information in detail, how to

get involved with the show for free.

453

:

So let's talk about

Willi Orban's red card.

454

:

Now, as a result from a poor

pass from the Lukeba, he put our

455

:

defense under pressure as St.

456

:

Pauli were able to win the

ball back in a dangerous area.

457

:

Elias Saad was stopped by Willi

Orban, who got plenty of the ball, so

458

:

it would look like, pushed it away,

but collected the player as well.

459

:

Now, Real time, this was stiff, to have

the red card, and it was disappointing.

460

:

People were saying because of the

last man, and that's not true,

461

:

as Nicolas Seiwald was arguing

with official Florian Badstübner.

462

:

But it is a red card,

and I'll tell you why.

463

:

The foul is a tactical foul.

464

:

Sergio Ramos was good at doing these.

465

:

He stops a clear attempt on goal,

so that's why it was a red card.

466

:

Not only that, he was also the last

defender when the ball was played.

467

:

It doesn't matter Nicolas

Seiwald's positioning.

468

:

As he never crosses over

and goes past Willi Orban.

469

:

Also, when Willi Orban does his sliding

challenge on replay and on review, he

470

:

actually doesn't touch the ball at all.

471

:

Elias Saad touches the ball away

with the inside of his right boot

472

:

and then Willi Orban collects him.

473

:

So therefore it's a clear foul.

474

:

And it has to be a red card,

according to FIFA rules.

475

:

It's harsh, as there's no knock on Orban.

476

:

He did what he had to do

and took one for the team.

477

:

Thankfully, the free kick from Eric

Smith was wide, but not by much, as

478

:

it was curled towards the top left

corner and was over the wall nicely.

479

:

Now, let's hear from the listeners on

what they felt about the Orban card.

480

:

RL9LoisFan on Instagram

says, Very good performance.

481

:

Even when we were down to 10, we

created three big chances today.

482

:

At 11 shots, which is

much better than before.

483

:

Best on ground was Gulacsi Xavi and Sesko.

484

:

But if I had to choose one,

then I'd go with Gulacsi.

485

:

Because of his very crucial

saves after the red card.

486

:

And my thoughts on the Orban red card.

487

:

Orban had a decent game today.

488

:

And I personally think he

saved us with that tackle.

489

:

Because if he let the player score,

then maybe it would be easier for St.

490

:

Pauli to come back.

491

:

I absolutely agree with you there.

492

:

I do think that Willi Orben had to

do everything that he had to do, and

493

:

as captain he took one for the team.

494

:

Of course, it's going to be very

disappointing that we're going

495

:

to miss him for our next fixture.

496

:

Luckily enough, we won't be missing

him in bigger games coming up ahead.

497

:

Willi Orben showed his true self.

498

:

Which is always unselfish, never for

himself, and always for the team first.

499

:

I do believe that Peter Gulacsi was

our second best player on the pitch.

500

:

If we were just rating the game

after the red card, then Peter

501

:

Gulacsi wins it hands down.

502

:

However, I do think, and it's very hard to

pick out one of the two, Xavi and Sesko.

503

:

We're easily the two best players on

ground, linking up twice together.

504

:

They had real cohesion

and real synergy together.

505

:

I can't pick one out of the two,

but I'm pretty sure Xavi was

506

:

the one that won it on the day.

507

:

So, Xavi is good enough.

508

:

And on the RBFans Discord, member rob3r7o

509

:

says, What do you think

about the new signings?

510

:

I'm really curious,

especially about Gomis.

511

:

I personally think the signing of Kosta

Nedeljkovic is a wasteful one, unless

512

:

Klosterman isn't going to play right

back again, which is fine with me.

513

:

As he has done the worst of his football

this season, playing it right back.

514

:

Gomis is too hard to tell.

515

:

Sky's the limit.

516

:

But he's too a questionable signing,

as I can't see the minutes being given.

517

:

Both signings are just for coverage,

but I feel will barely be used,

518

:

which will harm their development.

519

:

Cyril from the RB fans discord says.

520

:

How does a penda miss

that in the 92nd minute?

521

:

Anyway, that 1v1 aside, I'm really,

really happy with today's game.

522

:

I finally recognize my club again.

523

:

Good example.

524

:

Why our keeper having a

good game is essential.

525

:

The goals were brilliant,

especially Sesko's for me.

526

:

And we handled the pressure from St.

527

:

Pauli incredibly well, as much as

we got lucky with some chances.

528

:

I live Xavi Man.

529

:

I think that might be a

spell error there from Cyril.

530

:

I believe it's supposed

to say, I love Xavi Man.

531

:

Anyway, Cyril, I agree with you,

especially the part when you

532

:

said I finally recognized my club

again, that football and display

533

:

in both the buildups and the goals

of the two near win against St.

534

:

Pauli.

535

:

That was the RBL play that we

haven't seen for quite some time.

536

:

There's been glimpses and flashes here and

there, but in this game, it really looked

537

:

like it was starting to come together.

538

:

Maybe that extended break

is what the boys needed.

539

:

And yeah, I also agree with

you saying about our goalkeeper

540

:

having a good game is essential.

541

:

We do so well and need a dominant

player between the sticks.

542

:

Peter Gulacsi's been up and down this

season, and I still think Maarten

543

:

Vandevoordt is the future, and

should still be playing some games.

544

:

However, at the moment,

Gulacsi's gone through his

545

:

rough patch, and he's producing.

546

:

So It's still edges out Maarten

Vandevoordt at the stage.

547

:

The goals were definitely brilliant.

548

:

And although some places we didn't

handle the pressure from St.

549

:

Pauli overall, we coped pretty well

550

:

as always.
