Speaker:

Hello everyone and welcome to RBL Talk.

2

:

On today's show, we have some club news.

3

:

We recapped the very first look we got

at Löwball in the Bundesliga with the

4

:

correct prediction on the podcast with

a three one win against TSG Hoffenheim.

5

:

I'll preview match day 29 in the

Bundesliga against A VFL Wolfsburg

6

:

and also in the RBL talk segment.

7

:

Your listener input on the show.

8

:

Starting with the Club News for this week,

Leipzig, beat Dortmund and Stuttgart in

9

:

race for highly rated 20-year-old Ezekiel

Banzuzi has decided to join RB Leipzig

10

:

from OH Leuven according to Sky Germany.

11

:

The deal finalized and confirmed

by world renowned football

12

:

reporter for Brit Sierra Romano.

13

:

Romano Banzuzi will join Leipzig for

a fee in the region of 16 million

14

:

Euro at the end of the season.

15

:

VFB and UND among others have also been

linked with a move for the midfielder.

16

:

Banzuzi has made five appearances

for the Netherlands under 21 side.

17

:

Mathias ly the next name

linked to the RB Zi job.

18

:

Bill reports that the former Red

Bull Salzberg head coach, Mathias

19

:

Jai, is the next name to be

linked to the vacant RB lab job.

20

:

The German is currently managing

our Ali in the Saudi Pro League

21

:

and earns 11 million Euro a year.

22

:

Which makes him the highest

paid German coach around.

23

:

However, there's been rumors linking

him with a return to Europe with ex NTUs

24

:

manager Nu Ri, linked as his replacement.

25

:

Red Bull Technical Director, Mario

Gomez and RB Labs Sporting director

26

:

Marcel Shaa, are both said to hold

Jay Sally in high regard, the only

27

:

issue with him is that he's yet to

win anything major in his career.

28

:

What works in his favor is the fact that

he's a product of the Red Bull Football

29

:

School of Thought, the 36-year-old

has been head coach at Salzburg and

30

:

Development Team Life Ring, as well as

a coach at RBA Zigs at Youth Academy.

31

:

OT Louv is the interim charge at

Le Zg for the rest of the season.

32

:

After the sacking of Marco Rosa,

Oliver Glasner and Roger Schmidt

33

:

have also been linked with the job

34

:

Timo Werner and Andre Silver set to

be sold by ARB Leipzig in the summer.

35

:

RB Lab, ZG Fords, Timo Werner, and

Andre Silver are said to be sold

36

:

in the Summit Transfer Window once

they return from their loan spells.

37

:

According to kicker lab, ZG

have recently parted ways with

38

:

the head coach Marco Rosa.

39

:

However, this will not

change for the future duo.

40

:

Werner has spent this season on loan

at Tottenham Hot Spur and has played

41

:

18 times in the Premier League.

42

:

Unfortunately, during this time,

he hasn't been unable to score

43

:

a goal and was dropped for the

Europa League squad for January.

44

:

Lone signing Matthias tell.

45

:

As for Andre Silver, he signed for

Word of Bremen on loan in January

46

:

and has appeared in every match, but

has only made four starts according.

47

:

Two Punes Liga Stats scoring.

48

:

Just one goal in a four, two loss against

Hamm and glad back from the penalty spot.

49

:

Labe also have a further two plays

who are currently on loan and may be

50

:

given a chance to earn a place in the

first team squad during pre-season.

51

:

That's Midfielder IX maba, who is

currently on loan with Salt Vigo and

52

:

has been a regular in the LGA side.

53

:

He's a contract that runs until 2026.

54

:

The other is Elif Elms, who was sent

out to Torino in January and has

55

:

scored three goals and six matches.

56

:

If Torino do not exercise the option to

sign Elms permanently for 17 million Euro,

57

:

then another chance may be given at Lo

Zg for the North Macedonia International.

58

:

Leipzig Chief comments on speculation

linking Mario Gomez with Bayan Oliver.

59

:

SLA has commented on speculation that

Red Bull technical Director Mario Gomez

60

:

has attracted interest from Bay Munich.

61

:

Sky Germany recently reported

that by Munich, have expressed an

62

:

interest in appointing Red Bull

Technical Director Mario Gomez as

63

:

a management role in the future.

64

:

However, Oliver Min laugh, red Bull's, CEO

of corporate projects and new investments.

65

:

Doesn't expect Mario Gomez

to join the Barbarian Giants.

66

:

Gomez feels very, very

comfortable with us and has just

67

:

extended his contract from sla.

68

:

Told Sky Germany.

69

:

I'm quite sure that Mario Gomez is

not going to Buyin Gomez 39, spent

70

:

four years at Bain as a player.

71

:

His contract with Red

Bull runs until:

72

:

Now it's time to recap our last game.

73

:

That was the three one win against

TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.

74

:

Let's start by having a look at the Player

Watch Players first four TSG Hoffenheim.

75

:

It was Tom Bischoff.

76

:

Tom played the full 90 minutes,

had 52 touches, three total shots,

77

:

two on target, and one goal, which

was the opening goal of the game.

78

:

Made 32 passes at a completion rate of

89%, one to one of seven ground dues.

79

:

Lost possession nine times.

80

:

Made two clearances and one in deception.

81

:

The one football app.

82

:

He had a match rating of 9.2,

83

:

but I would've given him a rating of 8.3

84

:

as he certainly wasn't a man of the match.

85

:

Plan for a losing side.

86

:

For RBL, it was Willie Orban.

87

:

Willie played the full 90 minutes

as well, had 93 touches, made two

88

:

clearances, lost one of one ground

duels, and won one of one aerial duels.

89

:

Lost possession four times, made 84

passes at a completion rate of 97%.

90

:

Made one shot, which was off target.

91

:

And according to the one football

app, Willie had a match rating of 6.5.

92

:

However, I would rate him.

93

:

With a 7.3

94

:

and it was much better than that.

95

:

6.5.

96

:

Now let's recap the game in its entirety

with the good, the bad, and the ugly.

97

:

Three things we learned, and

then a summary and detailed,

98

:

starting with the good.

99

:

We dominated possession 67% to

33%, and we made use of it with

100

:

more passes, which were forward.

101

:

535 passes were made of a total of

604 attempted at a 89% accuracy,

102

:

78% accuracy of passes in the final third.

103

:

That was 152 of 192.

104

:

We created 16 shots at goal.

105

:

We were well disciplined

as no plays were booked.

106

:

We had 30 touches in the TSG Box

and three fouls in the final third.

107

:

Won the total duals, 59% to 41,

only dispossessed nine times as

108

:

a team, much better than previous

weeks when four players had a

109

:

total of 83, made 50 recoveries.

110

:

Now, for what we did wrong, the

bad, only a few things here.

111

:

Committed 10 fouls.

112

:

Pull from set pieces again.

113

:

We wasted our eight corners,

114

:

one arrow, which led to a shot at goal

115

:

what we did really wrong.

116

:

The ugly well, that one error

that we led to the goal.

117

:

When Peter Gal tried passing out

from the back, what was he thinking?

118

:

Three things we learned.

119

:

VTSG, hoffenheim.

120

:

It is only early days, but it appears

that we are playing the real RB

121

:

football we've come to know and love.

122

:

Let's see what happens

in the upcoming weeks.

123

:

Louv isn't afraid to

make substitutes early.

124

:

46 minute is far earlier than

anything our previous manager did.

125

:

We are not forced to make a change.

126

:

And number three, it shows that the

problem with RBL was unfortunately

127

:

Marco Rosa and his tactics.

128

:

Or is this just the perk up from a

new manager, which can happen again?

129

:

The upcoming weeks will tell.

130

:

RBL came from a goal down the defeat.

131

:

TSG Hoffenheim three one at the Red

Bull Arena as the club secured the

132

:

three points in their 300th Bunes

League at Match while keeping their ua.

133

:

Four Champions League dreams alive.

134

:

Hoffenheim enjoyed an impressive start

and didn't waste any time attacking RBLs

135

:

defense, creating multiple chances inside

two minutes, and the visitors continued.

136

:

Their Boyd start to the contest and

opened the scoring on 11 minutes.

137

:

Peter gci had direct responsibility in

the opener as his passed out of the back.

138

:

Fell straight to Bazo.

139

:

Zina tore who set up

Tom Bischoff 30 yarder.

140

:

That stunned the hosts.

141

:

RBL found an equalizer midway through the

first half, and just like the opener, it

142

:

came as a result of a goalkeeping mistake.

143

:

This time, the man at Fault was Germany

International Oliver Bauman, who failed to

144

:

stop a routine header from Benjamin Sesco.

145

:

A disastrous five minute

stretch for Hoffenheim also

146

:

saw them reduced to 10 men.

147

:

When Leo Skii osteo guard was sent off

148

:

after bringing down Lewis Pender,

he looked to be on the path of a

149

:

clear goal scoring opportunity.

150

:

The host took full advantage of the extra

player and grabbed the lead just before

151

:

the end of the half via Ride or Baku,

who latched onto a loose ball inside

152

:

the box to fire an unstoppable shot.

153

:

The left Bowman stranded, which was his

first Bunes Liga goal as a Red Bull.

154

:

After a slow start to the second half,

Hoffenheim thought they had equalized

155

:

on the hour mark via own goal from

Ca Leba, but the sequence was ruled

156

:

out due to an offsite in the buildup.

157

:

The visitors continued pressing

for a second goal with Bischoff and

158

:

Andre Kra playing a key role in that.

159

:

But every time the visitors came close to

equalizing GCI was there to deny them lo

160

:

Zg, then put the game to bed in the 84th

minute when substitute Yusef Parson scored

161

:

from his first league goal of the season.

162

:

Hoffenheim didn't have enough in them

to fashion a comeback and had to settle

163

:

for yet another loss, meaning they've

won just once in their last six.

164

:

Bunes Liga matches Drawn three Loss

two, but they still have a four point

165

:

cushion over the relegation race.

166

:

RBL bounced back from their lost two.

167

:

Russian mush and glad back in the

previous round, and while they've won

168

:

just two of their last six Bundes League

of Matches drawn to lost two, they

169

:

still depend on themselves to reach the

20 15 20 16 Uua for Champions League.

170

:

We've just six games to go.

171

:

It was interesting to hear from

the new gaffer after the game.

172

:

This is what he had to say

when speaking to reporters.

173

:

The team did a great job today after being

knocked out of the cup on Wednesday night.

174

:

There wasn't much time to recover

mentally or physically for today, said

175

:

Louv before developing deep into the

lack of preparation time for his group.

176

:

We came straight out of an

intense game against Stuttgart

177

:

while Hoffenheim were rested.

178

:

The early goal didn't help chase

any of the tiredness of our legs.

179

:

That's why I'm even

more proud of the team.

180

:

The luck that we were missing in

Stuttgart was back on our side today.

181

:

Louv also shared his opinion about the

difference between his previous posts at

182

:

Live Zg and working as an interim coach.

183

:

It's obviously something different

to be here now as the head coach,

184

:

you're not only a part of the

process, but also the one who needs

185

:

to take most of the decisions on.

186

:

It was definitely something special for

me to be back on the sidelines at the

187

:

Red Bull Arena where I've been able to

experience many special moments before.

188

:

Now let's talk the goals.

189

:

The opening goal was scored by TSG

Hoffenheim with the buildup play starting

190

:

from a throw in down the left hand side.

191

:

The RBL press was high up the pitch

and Castella Leba struggled with Baer's

192

:

moona tore pressure, but managed to get

the ball off him with a clean challenge.

193

:

He.

194

:

Pastor Peter gci, who

passed back to Buna Tore.

195

:

He passed to his front left as he faced

the right side of the pitch to Tom Bishop,

196

:

player watch player for this game, and

he takes a single touch with his left

197

:

boot to control the ball in front of him.

198

:

Then takes a strike from

around 30 yards out.

199

:

The ball, bounces about a meter or

two in front of GCI to his left.

200

:

And it takes a bubble and it ends up

going past him lowly at around ankle

201

:

level, into the back of the neck.

202

:

Now, how could we have prevented this one?

203

:

It's pretty simple.

204

:

If a goalkeeper is going to be good

with his feet to play out from the

205

:

back, think Edison or Allison, he

needs to be able to make those passes.

206

:

GCI isn't very good at

playing out from the back.

207

:

And should just clear his lines instead

of being too cute in possession.

208

:

The second goal of the game and first goal

for RBL was scored in the 24th minute by

209

:

Benjamin Sesco, assisted by David Round.

210

:

The buildup play from a corner.

211

:

Which is the only, the sixth

goal scored from a set peaceful

212

:

season in the Bundesliga.

213

:

The ball came from the left

hand side to the center of the

214

:

box with a header by Sesco.

215

:

His header went straight to Oliver

Bauman first, who parried it in front

216

:

of himself, and then the ball looped

up and went to the bottom left corner.

217

:

Overall, a very well worked corner kick.

218

:

Good delivery and SS go rising high

is going to beat most defenders.

219

:

The only thing we could have done

better is on Sesco, and that's getting

220

:

a better connection and heading it into

the corner without needing the mistake

221

:

by Bauman, but that's being picky.

222

:

The third goal of the game and second

for RBL came in the 43rd minute before

223

:

halftime, scored by Ride or Baku,

his first as a Red Bull in the Bunga.

224

:

The buildup place started on the left hand

side with David Round in the thick of it

225

:

again, as we passed the ball around the

back and settled on the left hand side

226

:

with us playing across the back line,

but still going forward, which was good.

227

:

As we got it from the right hand side,

Costa and Kovich passed the ball from

228

:

the right wing with a looping cross,

which hung in the air, which gave time

229

:

for Stanley in Soki from TSG Hoffenheim.

230

:

To get to the ball, but with

a heavy touch on his chest.

231

:

It fell for right or back, who was

in central position and out of his

232

:

normal position, and struck the ball

well with his left boot hard and low.

233

:

It went into the bottom left corner,

and all Oliver Bauman could do

234

:

was watch the ball fly past, and

picked the ball out of the net.

235

:

The fourth and final goal of the

game and RBLs third and final

236

:

goal came in the second half.

237

:

In the 84th minute, Yusef Palon came

onto the pitch in the 81st minute and

238

:

just three minutes later, USI scored his

first Bull League goal of the season.

239

:

The buildup play started from a high

press, winning the ball back from

240

:

a fast break off TSG Hoffenheim.

241

:

As Chad Bcha put in a good challenge on

Anton, stuck in the middle of the pitch.

242

:

The ball wasn't controlled well

by be shabu, but it went straight

243

:

into the path of Chavy Simmons who

ran forward as we caught out the

244

:

TSG defense with a four on three.

245

:

In the final third

246

:

chavy passed around me who passed

the Parson, he took a shot.

247

:

It was paired by TSG keeper Bauman,

which looped high for Tedium Gomez

248

:

to header it to the feet of uc.

249

:

And he shot hard and low.

250

:

With the help of an under deflection from

Stanley Inaki, it went into the back of

251

:

the net and the scores ended three one.

252

:

The best players for RBL were Ca,

Leba, or Lee or Band, Benjamin Esko,

253

:

Louis App, Pender Costa and Kovich.

254

:

And Yusef Parson.

255

:

The best place for TSG Hoffenheim were

Paa Re, Andre Er, and Tom Bischoff.

256

:

And now for a suspension

and injury list update.

257

:

Kevin Campbell with an infection is a

high possibility for Saturday's game.

258

:

He'll be tested during the week

before a selection call is made as

259

:

Drago Left thigh muscle injury with

tendon damage is making good progress

260

:

and has rejoined team training.

261

:

Antonio Noosa Knee is back

on the pitch but is still

262

:

training individually for now.

263

:

Xavier Schlager suffered an injury to

his left thigh while and international

264

:

duty with Austria and is set for

another spell on the sidelines.

265

:

And Benjamin Henriks, who trn his

achilles tendon is working on his

266

:

comeback and Leipzig, but we won't

see him until the next season.

267

:

And now to preview the VFL Wolfsburg

game, Wolfsburg will be without baptized

268

:

and Bilac Dennis Avaro, Constantinos Kki.

269

:

Love Ro Mayer and Sebastian

porno with question marks around

270

:

Mattias Berg and Nicholas Klinger.

271

:

The wolves are unlucky to be as

far down the table as they are,

272

:

as they are aside that could

possibly play European football.

273

:

They need to clean up their fouls.

274

:

Currently averaging 10.8

275

:

per game and goals conceded per game 1.5

276

:

as offensively.

277

:

They're fine scoring more than

RBL in creating more chances.

278

:

This is the third time will

play wolfsburg this season.

279

:

But first in the Volkswagen Arena, di

Rotten Bullen are going to want to get

280

:

redemption for the five one humiliation

and the biggest loss in the Red Bull

281

:

Arena back in November last year.

282

:

Some interesting match.

283

:

Facts leading into this game

are Wolfsburg having kept a

284

:

clean sheet in eight matches.

285

:

Wolfsburg haven't scored in

their last three matches.

286

:

Wolfsburg have scored more goals

than RBL in the competition.

287

:

49 to 44.

288

:

Wolfsburg have won more times at

home against RBL four to three with

289

:

also three draws being played out.

290

:

RBL have scored six goals in their last

five matches, and RBL have kept the most

291

:

clean sheets and the competition with 13

292

:

on a player.

293

:

Watch for this game for both sides.

294

:

It will be for VFO Wolfsburg, David o.

295

:

The young German Nigerian got

his first senior start for the

296

:

wolves in the Bundesliga with many

center backs in their squad out.

297

:

He's great in the challenge and able

to play a pass out from the back.

298

:

Eyes will be on him during this fixture

to see how he performs against some

299

:

of the best forwards in the Bundesliga

300

:

and for RBL Yusef.

301

:

Our record appearance holder scored

his first goal since the 22nd of

302

:

January when he scored the winner

in our two one against sporting cp.

303

:

In the Champions League, you'll see

it looks refreshed and similar to

304

:

the goal scoring machine of the 20

14 20 15 season, able to score with

305

:

limited space and creating chances

will you see come from that form and

306

:

have a big back end of the season

307

:

while our younger forwards in app,

Penda and Sesco have been struggling,

308

:

what I'd like to see in this match

with my lineup sign with the 4 4

309

:

2 flat, as that works right now.

310

:

So no need to change.

311

:

But what will change for me is Martine

Vandervoort replacing Peter Gache in

312

:

goal after making that poor error, which

led to the goal and the only goal for

313

:

the opposition in our previous fixture.

314

:

From left to right back line

consisting of David Realm, CA Leba,

315

:

Willie Orban in Costa and Kovich.

316

:

He retains his spot at right back.

317

:

Midfield four of Chavy Simmons Amadou.

318

:

Hi replacing Nicola Sal and Tedium Gomez.

319

:

Replacing right or Baku out on

the right hand side upfront.

320

:

Yusef Palon gains a start over Louis app

Pender and Benjamin Sesco to his right.

321

:

To summarize those

changes are four changes.

322

:

Manor Hira Gomez and Parson Inn,

and gci, Sied Baku, and a penda out.

323

:

But all being demoted to the

bench with a penda at least

324

:

coming on as an impact substitute.

325

:

With his pace, he can cause some

issues with tiring defenders.

326

:

For predictions, Louv Ball

is going to continue and A

327

:

three N incoming win for RBL.

328

:

If we play how we did in our

previous fixture, we should be

329

:

running away comfortable winners.

330

:

The wolves will make mistakes by giving

away free kicks in dangerous areas.

331

:

Or by turning the ball over with

Bad Pass execution, averaging 317.7

332

:

passes per game on target with a 78.6%

333

:

accuracy rate.

334

:

We need to take those chances and Goal

Pender to get back to scoring ways.

335

:

Remember, you can be a part of the

show too with the RBL talk segment.

336

You can even come on the

show as a special guest.

339

:

More information in detail on

how to get involved with the

340

:

show for free in the show notes,

341

:

just the two submissions today in

this RBL talk segment with many

342

:

episodes coming out during this week.

343

:

We've got just a couple.

344

:

So Claude J from the RB fans, discord

says that Win will do us good.

345

:

Getting fouled might've been

Lewis's biggest contribution today.

346

:

And haha, Beastie Boys as a

RB stadium, music is wild.

347

:

Yeah, I did like what you said there

about Lewis getting fouled might have

348

:

been his biggest contribution and.

349

:

In a way it sort of was his free

kick in that dangerous area.

350

:

Really helped stem the flow and give

us the ball back in a sense of the

351

:

tempo shift change to our favor.

352

:

We wrestled it back a little bit

from TSG Hoffenheim, and we managed

353

:

to start getting some goals.

354

:

That win will definitely

do us good as well.

355

:

I do agree with that.

356

:

Hopefully we can use it as a platform

to springboard and go into the top

357

:

four, although I still don't want

the team to succeed in that sense.

358

:

As you know, I want the owners to sort

of learn their lesson about sacking

359

:

a manager so late in the season.

360

:

It's probably better for the

club if we do still get top four.

361

:

'cause then that way we

can still attract and keep.

362

:

Our best players

363

:

and yeah, Beastie Boys in the RB stadium,

we're one of those clubs where I've

364

:

seen us being called the Hipster Club.

365

:

Funny enough, I'm not really

a big fan of the Beastie Boys.

366

:

I mean, I know that song from the Beastie

Boys and hey, if the fans are enjoying it.

367

:

It's a really good song.

368

:

Who cares what other people think?

369

:

Obviously I know you think it's great.

370

:

Me, I'm a bit, eh, so, so however,

if everyone in the stadium loves

371

:

it and people get behind, it

doesn't matter what songs we have.

372

:

I and RL nine Louie Fan on

Instagram says, finally a win,

373

:

but not the way we wanted it.

374

:

We weren't good today, but three

points is all that matters for me.

375

:

Finally a win, but not

the way we wanted it.

376

:

I dunno what you mean by that.

377

:

He said we weren't good today, but

three points is all that matters.

378

:

Yeah, that's true.

379

:

Three points is all that matters.

380

:

But I thought we played quite well.

381

:

Besides the Peter Kci era, I

didn't really see too many of the

382

:

problems that we normally have.

383

:

Yes, they were still there, but I

do think that we were the better

384

:

side at least after the 25 minute,

half an hour mark of the game.

385

:

I didn't really see TSG being as

threatening in that game until after that.

386

:

They were still always in it

until that last use of Paron goal,

387

:

but I really didn't see them.

388

:

As a threat maybe to equalize, but we were

definitely the better team on the day.

389

:

So I'd like for you to let me know

how exactly we weren't good because

390

:

that's something that I haven't seen

and it's always good to have listeners

391

:

on the show and other people point out

things that sometimes even I don't see.

392

:

So please make sure that you let me know.

393

:

Send that into show@rbltalk.com.

394

:

Put it on the episode on

Spotify and the comments.

395

:

Or even just back on the Instagram

post where you posted this or an

396

:

inbox on Instagram as well even let

me know how you felt that we weren't

397

:

good, and I'll make sure that it

goes on the next episode as a reply.
